Concert and Party This is the official OPENING of Swahili Cultural Festival June 29th 2024, We will open our festival with two of Tanzania best artists live on stage with Afro fusion music show and Singeli party. CONCERT: - Abeneko and The Positive Mind (Tanzania) - Twenty4Seven Regae band(multi-inter/HH) -Dj Sisso and Producer Maiko(Tanzania) DJ SET: - Swahili Sound System(Tanzania) -TBASWAHILI WORKSHOPS
Arts workshops - Wax Batik - Tinga tinga - Tribal masks Music workshops - Make Dance Play - Swahili music composition - TechPerc Swahili Kids Corner - Book reading - Swahili songs workshop - Facial painting - Swahili Recycled toys.FASHION
In the 1 st event we’ll present Kanga and Masai wear. Kanga is an East African famous traditional wear from the coast of Indian Ocean to inner country. We’ll have a Kanga and Masai cloth and jewelers fashion show on the main stage. Further more we invited number of designers both from diaspora and from the continent.
